The nine-year DE of Buffalo Bills, Aaron Schobel, is now finally a free agent after being released by the management of the Buffalo Bills. Buddy Nix, Bills manager, formally announced their decision on releasing Schobel after being reported as a no-show on the offseason training camp of the Bills in suburban Rochester. Furthermore, Schobel’s constantly airing and contemplating his possibility of retiring and not playing beyond this year, made the management strongly decide on releasing him.

Upon releasing their long time DE, Nix assumed tow possible options on his release; first was if he chooses to retire, then that would made him a real Buffalo Bills by heart; second is the possibility of Schobel’s transfer to their opposing team, which is one of the nearby playing team in Houston. Nix certainly stated that Schobel hasn’t formally disclose his final decision until now and whatever he decides to, the management of the Bills will certainly wish him luck on his new endeavour.

The playing contract of Schobel to the Buffalo Bills is yet to expire 4 years from now on a $50.5 million contract extension which he signed in 2007.

Due to Schobel’s release, the Bills are now doing tactics and ways on improving the team’s performance as well as their ability to cover all the upcoming spreads and totals to be set on them. As an act of sportsmanship and respect for individual decision, the act of accepting Schobel’s decision is a highly commended act done by Buddy Nix and the rest of the Bills management.
