THE CHICAGO Bears hopes to get the NFC North title in the current National Football League season when they visit the struggling Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
Holding a superior 9-4 record compared to the 5-8 record of the Vikings the Bears is the overwhelming favorite to win their game.
The Bears are also picked to win this game because the Vikings will be playing without its superstar quarterback Brett Favre, who is the most potent force of the team this season.
The visitor is very determined to win this game to further boost their chances of capturing the NFL North title this year.
Coming into the game the Bears is expected to rely on star quarterback Jay Cutler against the undermanned Vikings.
Cutler is playing superb this year and if he can repeat his A-performance against the Vikings there is no reason they will lose against the home-team.
The Bears need to play their A-game come game-time to beat the equally determined Vikings on Monday night.
The Vikings, who is already out of the NFL playoff contention after their recent loss to the New York Giants, can upset the Bears if third string quarterback Joe Webb can pick up the slack left by Favre.
Webb, a sixth-round pick from UAB, becomes the third third-string quarterback the Bears will face this season after wins over Miami and Detroit.
If Webb can produce huge numbers for his team the Vikings have a big chance of beating the visiting Bears.
Although they are already out of contention for an NFL playoff slot, the Vikings are still very determined to win their game to exit with a bang this year.
To defeat the Bears the Vikings need to give their 101 efforts and play as a team come game-time.

The Chicago Bears will travel to New Meadowlands Stadium on Sunday to face the New York Giants and aim for its fourth win the current National Football League season.

Sporting an impressive 3-0 record, the Bears is favored to win against the home-team who is currently struggling in the ongoing NFL season with their 1-2 record.
Lead by young quarterback Jay Cutler the Bears have taken the 2010 NFL by surprised as they take an immaculate record after a disastrous 7-9 record the past year.
This year, Cutler’s hard-work finally paid off as he threw for 870 yards – fifth-most in the NFL with six touchdowns and two interceptions under first-year offensive coordinator Mike Martz.
Cutler is very happy with their strong start and the great help given by Martz in improving his game.
Against the error prone Giants, the Bears is picked to win against Tom Coughlin and his troops.
Aside from the great game of Cutler the Bears are enjoying a winning season due to the defensive effort of newly acquired Julius Peppers.
In their past games, the Giants also  lost their last five regular-season home meetings against the Bears since a 28-24 victory in 1969.
The winner of the last two meetings  in 2006 and 2007 – has gone on to the Super Bowl.
Despite being the underdog in their game, the Giants could still win their game if they can avoid errors and feel the support of their hometown fans.
Giants star quarterback Eli Manning also needs to have a great game to ensure the Giants can upset the Bears and hand them their first loss in the 2010 NFL season.

Full Chicago Bears Season Preview.

After a disappointing rookie year in 2009, Cutler who threw 27 interceptions the past NFL season, is expected to perform better for his team.

Fuelled by strong support from the fans, Cutler is set to have a break-out NFL season this year.
The Chicago Bears also took the right direction in the NFL off-season by taking-in reliable defensive end Julius Peppers and running back Chester Taylor.

A great worker, Taylor is expected to lighten the workload of Matt Forte in the forthcoming NFL season.

With an improved roster the Bears is a dark-horse in the NFL this year and landing third place in the very tough NFC North Division is already an achievement.
