Despite the absence of its top quarterback National Football League superstar Ben Roethlisberger the Pittsburgh Steelers is a having a relatively great 2010 NFL season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers has won its first three games of the young NFL season without Roethlisberger or some its top quarterback reserves who are all facing injuries.
Under the leadership of its veteran coach Mike Tomlin, the Steelers was able to overcome their deficiency by putting emphasis on team play and defense which work wonders in their first three victories in the 2010 NFL season.
Taking a surprised and lead role in the Steeler’s first three victories is forgotten quarterback Charlie Batch who despite being buried deep on the team’s deep chart still managed to put up great numbers for his team’s immaculate 3-0 record.
Batch hasn’t started successive games since midway through 2005, when Ben Roethlisberger had a right knee injury had a stellar game in the Steelers victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the game, Batch completed 12 of 17 passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns—his first scoring passes since 2007.
With his heroic plays, Batch is expected to play the lead role as quarterback for the team as the Steelers play host against the Baltimore Ravens on October 3.
Recognizing the great efforts of Batch in the Steelers victories, Tomlin will once again put him in the starting line-up in the AFC North game against the Ravens.
The surprising wins of the Steelers makes them a favorite to its fourth game of the current NFL season against the Ravens.
The Steelers is expected to win against the Ravens (2-1) since the latter have lost nine of their last 10 at Heinz Field.
After their game against the Ravens, the Steelers will get further boost in its NFL campaign as  Roethlisberger is expected to start for the team on  Oct. 17 against Cleveland.
While the Steelers are favored to win their game, the Ravens could still steal the thunder if they will have an A-game come game-time.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers—As far as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is concerned the forthcoming 2010 NFL season is not something to be optimistic.

There are no high expectations for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the next NFL season as the NFL franchise is on a rebuilding mode.

The NFL franchise and the fans inside the Ray James Stadium are aware that the best thing they could do is to hope that the team continues to improve in the next NFL season.

To gain some respect in the NFL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers also needs to improve its rush defence that ranked dead last in the league last year.

The two rookie defensive tackles of the team needs to play at their best to help the team improve in the 2010 NFL season.

Buccaneers young quarterback Josh Freeman also needs to continually grow for him to become the signal caller of the team for years to come.

If the Buccaneers can play their cards well they can win some games against quality opponents, but this early their 2010 outlook is not that good.

Fearless forecast—4-12.
